Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Download Pebbles from TestFlight and sign in using your Apple ID or Google account. That's it — no separate registration needed.
Is Pebbles free to use?
Yes, Pebbles is free to download and use.
Taking Photos
Why does Pebbles need my location?
Pebbles verifies that you're physically present at a landmark before you can capture a photo there. This ensures all landmark photos in the community are authentic travel experiences.
How close do I need to be to a landmark?
You need to be within the landmark's geofenced area, which varies by location. The app will show you when you're close enough to take a photo.
Why can't I take a photo at a landmark?
Make sure location services are enabled for Pebbles in your device settings (Settings > Pebbles > Location > While Using the App). You also need to be physically near the landmark. GPS accuracy can vary — try moving to an area with a clearer view of the sky.
Collections & Achievements
How do collections work?
Your photos are automatically organized into collections by country. You can also create custom collections to group your travel photos however you like.
How do I earn achievements?
Achievements are earned by visiting and photographing landmarks. Each achievement has specific requirements, such as visiting a certain number of landmarks in a country or visiting landmarks of a specific type.
Account & Privacy
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account within the app through your profile settings. You can also request account deletion by emailing [email protected]. Account deletion permanently removes all your data, photos, and collections.
Can I make my profile private?
Your photos and collections are private by default. You choose what to share on the public feed.
Does Pebbles sell my data?
No. We never sell, trade, or rent your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Technical Issues
The app is running slowly or crashing
Try these steps:
- Make sure you're running the latest version of Pebbles
- Restart the app
- Check that your device is running iOS 17 or later

My photos aren't uploading
Check your internet connection and try again. Photos will be uploaded once you have a stable connection. If the problem continues, please contact support.
